We know you might have some questions about our transition from Pico to Hype. So our team pulled together this handy FAQ to address your concerns and help you navigate the changes with ease.

Why are we rebranding?

We’ve rebranded to Hype so we can better serve a new generation of entrepreneurs and creators looking to turn their personal brand into a fully-fledged business. Our new name, Hype, reflects our commitment to empowering creators with accessible audience engagement and revenue tools.

Are we making any product changes? 

The main change is the domain swap from pico.link to hype.co. This will affect your pico.link/ page URL and the links used to access your Pico (now Hype) account.

pico.link/[username] → hype.co/@[username]

Do I need to do anything for the domain change to take place?

No. You don't need to take any action for the domain swap, as your existing pico.link URLs will automatically forward to the new hype.co domain. 

However, we do recommend updating your link in bio and other places you've shared your pico.link URL to the new hype.co/@[username].

Will my Pico.Link redirect to the new domain?

Yes. Your existing pico.link/[username] URL will automatically forward to a corresponding hype.co/@[username] domain.

How do I get my new Hype.co link?

You can find your new hype.co/@[username] URL in the Page Editor, located in the upper-righthand corner.

Will I lose any functionality?

No. You will not lose any functionality as the result of this swap. In fact, we plan on rolling out new features in the coming weeks and months. 


Will the rebranding affect my current subscription plan or pricing?

No. The new name will not affect your current subscription plan or pricing. We're committed to providing the same great service you've come to expect, and we'll continue to honor your existing subscription.

Will there be any downtime or disruptions to my page during the transition to the new domain?

No. We expect no downtime or disruptions to your page during the transition to the new domain. In fact, it’s already done! 

You mentioned new features. How will the new features be rolled out, and will I be automatically granted access to them?

The new features will be rolled out over time, and we'll communicate all updates through email and in-app notifications. Depending on your subscription plan, you may be granted access to these new features automatically.

Can I still access the same support channels if I need help during this transition?
