Consortium 499

Consortium 499

Consortium 499 is free-range retro and experimental electronica with a contemporary edge. Bold, passionate, and in the rough. Consortium 499's fascination with electronica originates way back to the groundbreaking classic electronic sound of the seventies. Heavily influenced by the work of venerable artists such as Tangerine Dream, Jean-Michel Jarre, Synergy, Vangelis and Tomita - then further mutated by the '90's trance vibe of 808 State, Orbital, System 7, Fortran 5, and Astralasia - Consortium 499 embarked on a personal musical sojourn to carve a unique niche in the vast and varied tabula of electronica. Enjoy, and don't mind the kittens.

Love the new song Gone! Very epic-sounding song for a soundtrack.

I really like the new tunes! 'Another Lazy Sunday' is a cool rock track and I like the atmosphere on 'Cheapazz Beatzz'.
